Thoughts on season 12?
My husband and I both thought they found a better pace for the riffs. It seems like it might have been a bit faster than Ye Aulden Days, but didn't have the feverish feel of S11. Not that we timed it, but watching S11 (even on a third rewatch) we keep going, "Whoa, slow down a little!" and we didn't have that feeling here. Overall everyone was a bit more relaxed. And if Jonah, Baron, and Hampton still weren't recording riffs in the same room together, they somehow managed to overcome that, as the conversational riffs where they talk to each other seemed pretty natural.
Patton is still kinda stealing the show as Max in our opinion.
Is there a MST episode that squicks you out? I can't watch Attack of the Giant Leeches - it just makes me super uncomfortable. But I have no problem with Squirm, while my SO is so squicked by the "worms" in that movie he can't watch it at all.
You remember in the Hired! short, how the young new salesman says he sold a car, but the boss says "yeah but you didn't do it right."
"But he bought the car!"
"Yes but you should have done this other stuff"
"BUT HE BOUGHT THE FLIPPIN' CAR!"
Today I'm that salesman.
